The Church Winery was lovingly established in 2025, born from a vision and a dream.
The present Church was built in 1883 on land donated by John Spindler & Dan and Maggie Spindler. Transforming a historic 18th Century church into a winery serving the local community is an imaginative way to breathe new life into an aging landmark while forever preserving its architectural & historical significance.
By carefully restoring the church’s original glass windows, high vaulted ceilings, ornate woodwork, and craftsmanship from a bygone era the building’s character is maintained, offering a unique backdrop for the winery.
Inside, the sanctuary is repurposed as a tasting room, where guests can experience wine in an awe-inspiring space. The original bell tower is lovingly under restoration preserving its 142-year-old brass bell for future generations to hear its song.
This fusion of reverence for the building’s past and the artistry of wine making creates an unexpected yet captivating setting for wine lovers
